MANAGING YOUR MONEY AND WORK STUDY 6 MANAGING YOUR MONEY AND WORK STUDY | GeorgianCollege.ca LOOK FOR WORK WHILE YOU STUDY Earn while you learn | Work Study positions are on-campus jobs that provide students with an excellent opportunity to work part-time while participating in college life. Working on campus is a great way to make additional money to put toward your expenses while gaining meaningful employment to help build your skills and boost your resumé. There are a variety of work opportunities for you to explore. Most positions will include around 10 to 15 hours per week during your studies. www.georgiancollege.ca/finance- and-fees/work-study-program/ Learn how to manage your money with Thrifty Thursdays! We offer a series of financial literacy workshops to help you stay on top of your finances. Topics include such things as budgeting, managing debt and living a financially healthy life. • These workshops are eligible for your co-curricular record. • Plus, attend four workshops in a semester to be entered for a chance to win $250 on your ONEcard each semester*. • Receive a Financial Literacy badge to display on LinkedIn. • Each workshop you attend and provide a feedback form, will be eligible for a draw for a $100 PC gift cards. *Read official contest rules and regulations online Learn more about Thrifty Thursdays!
