About to mark their 20th wedding anniversary in 2021, Bruce County couple John and Shirley Reaburn faced serious health issues and were reminded of how important nurses are to the well-being of our community. They also knew Georgian is pivotal to training the health-care workforce of tomorrow. As part of the launch of our Honours Bachelor of Science – Nursing, they pledged $100,000 to our Frontline Support: Health-care Heroes Closer to Home campaign to advance the college's health-care related facilities, technologies, tools and scholarship opportunities for students in financial need. Supporting our health-care heroes CELEBRATING our SHARED SUCCESS "We've been such good users of the local health system in the last year.
