By leveraging their prior software development experience, students are able to focus on the core techniques, concepts, and architectures of mobile applications. Using an applied project methodology, students learn how to resolve common mobile programming challenges while gaining tangible experience in developing mobile applications. Students also develop effective technical communication skills, as well as gain exposure to vendor standards, guidelines and best practices. GeorgianCollege.ca/PTMDEV OCAS application required (program code: MDEX) Ontario College Graduate Certificate Graduates will be prepared to work independently or as a member of a team creating, designing and coding mobile applications using a multitude of programming languages on a variety of mobile platforms. 14 program courses Diploma programs PROGRAM DETAILS CREDENTIAL CAREER OPTIONS GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS Game – Design and Simulation GAME n Game designers support the creation of unique gaming environments that combine levels, characters, assets, props and systems for a variety of platforms, including computer, console, mobile and wearable devices. In Game – Design and Simulation, students learn how to take a game idea or simulation concept to create compelling experiences as they develop narratives, create and manage 2D and 3D digital assets, and apply the concepts of lighting, animation, cinematography, sound design and rendering.
