Henry Bernick Entrepreneurship Centre
As a Black biracial communicator, Michèle
educates, advocates, and consults to
raise awareness and inspire people and
organizations to build inclusion. Drawing
upon her lived intersectional experience
and journey, she has created positive
change across industries. Previously a
faculty member, she also serves as an
inclusion and diversity mentor with the
Henry Bernick Entrepreneurship Centre at
the Barrie Campus.

Alasoba Kelsy-Braide
Child and Youth Care (class of 2020)
Arriving from Nigeria as an international student, Alasoba built and
connected communities in and out of school, including organizing
the first Black History Awareness Week at the Orillia Campus. Her
energy, passion, and commitment led to her co-founding Orillia's EDI
Development Group. Currently, Alasoba is a community builder and
navigator, working in People and Culture with the Blossom Group, and
a member of Making Change Simcoe County.
Clement Bamikole
Faculty and Degree Breadth Coordinator
Liberal Arts
Finely attuned to global events, Clement
leads Georgian's Liberal Arts department
as both professor and degree breadth
coordinator. His passion for positive
change formed the EDI Working
Circle and won a $400,000 grant to
establish an Equity, Diversity, Inclusion
and Belonging centre at Georgian.
