A message from the Centre for Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (EDI&B) It's vital that these stories are told and celebrated – not only during Black History Month but all year long. Too often, the accomplishments of Black and other racialized colleagues are unsung, minimized or obscured. We all need to take steps to ensure greater visibility of the many contributions Black individuals have made to Georgian, to the region, to the nation and beyond. We need to acknowledge that these successes are often hard won in the face of persistent barriers. We're so inspired by their excellence and humbled to be working alongside them as they continue to break ground, lead in their chosen fields and pave the way for others. Their successes elevate all of us. Let's celebrate them, amplify their voices and continue to build a world where the conditions for everyone's success are in place.
