Increase opportunities to build new partnerships and
strengthen communication with local Indigenous communities
and organizations
• Facilitate increased community usage of college spaces in order
to bring Indigenous communities, cultures and experiences onto
Georgian's campuses
• Increase outreach, engagement and information sharing with local
Indigenous community leadership for the purpose of strengthening
communication and developing potential partnerships
• Renew the Anishinaabe Education and Training Circle terms of
reference, using a community engagement lens, to advance the
learning experience for First Nations, Métis, and Inuit students
