DESIGN, ARTS AND LANGUAGE 30 DESIGN, ARTS AND LANGUAGE | GeorgianCollege.ca Recognition of Achievement programs PROGRAM DETAILS CREDENTIAL CAREER OPTIONS GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS Applied Project Management APMN This program provides students with practical and professional skills in all aspects of project management. There are six courses, including the integration project. All courses are compulsory and may be completed uninterrupted in 14 weeks, or over several terms up to a maximum of two years. Courses are designed to be taken sequentially to give students the opportunity to progressively work through the entire life cycle of a project, from initiation to closeout. The program finishes up with a practical integration project. This final project provides an opportunity to demonstrate competency by consolidating skills developed throughout the program. This program is offered in partnership with Georgian College and the Applied Management Centre. GeorgianCollege.ca/PTAPMN No application required Recognition of Achievement Participants in this program often work as project managers, supervisors or project coordinators and have project work experience that puts the learning into context, regardless of industry. How will this prepare me for my PMP ® ? The PMP ® credential requires education, project management experience, training and an exam. This program provides more than twice the required training, and all of the content aligns with the most current version of the PMBOK® Guide. We also provide guidance on studying for the exam. Photography Essentials micro-certificate PHTO Have you dreamed of stepping up your amateur photography game, or finding a job where your photography skills are an asset? If you can relate, this Photography Essentials Micro-certificate is a good fit for you! This non-credit micro-certificate program will help you grow your knowledge and skills in photography and image creation. Enjoy hands-on learning focused on the technical skills, business knowledge and creative portfolio images you need to succeed as a professional photographer. Each module earns you a digital badge that you can display on your social media profiles, telling prospective employers what you have learned. The recommended equipment for this program includes an interchangeable lens camera—either a digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) or a mirrorless camera—and an accessory flash (speedlight) with an off-camera flash trigger.
