Global education partners are also participating, allowing Georgian students to collaborate with students from institutions around the world. All CCSI work, and in fact all work across Georgian, is now informed by the the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). Georgian officially joined this global movement by signing the SDG Accord for educational institutions. The 17 goals are an urgent call for action to end poverty, improve health and education, tackle climate change and much more. At CCSI it all means continuing efforts that benefit local and global communities, Georgian students, as well as staff and faculty. "Changemaking is very engaging," says Suzie. "Research shows those involved experience an increase in employee engagement. That's huge, and it's not a surprise. Changemaking is a strength-based, positive, passionate approach and it's contagious. It's joyful knowing you can support students contributing to change and be involved in something bigger than yourself."
