Do your research
Connect with us through virtual Open House, explore
your options, book a phone appointment with one of
our recruiters, connect with Georgian staff, and learn
about admissions requirements online.
Apply to college
Apply from your preferred program page at
GeorgianCollege.ca or at ontariocolleges.ca. Apply before
Feb. 1 for highly competitive programs, or any time before
the semester if your program has vacancies. After you apply,
remember to check your email often.
You're in!
Most applicants receive offers of admission around
Feb. 1. Acceptances for highly competitive programs
and programs with selection processes are sent in
March and onward.
Accept your offer
If you start in September, accept your offer by
May 1. Check MyGCLife.ca on your student
portal for information on your deadlines.

Need help making ends meet?
Apply for OSAP at ontario.ca/OSAP
Admission
Check the Applicant Dashboard at
MyGCLife.ca, your student portal, to see if you're
missing any requirements to get into your program.
If you can't meet requirements, contact your
admissions officer to discuss options.
Pay your deposit
To confirm your spot in the program,
pay your deposit. The deadlines are as follows:
If you start in May 2021, the deadline is Feb. 16, 2021;
if you start in September 2021, the deadline is June 18, 2021;
if you start in January 2022, the deadline is Oct. 4, 2021;
and if you start in May 2022, the deadline is Feb. 14, 2022.

Register for courses
Your registration date and time will be posted
in Banner after the deposit deadline. During
registration, you can register for your courses.

Attend orientation
Orientation is the first day of your first term. Meet
other students, learn about student services and
get set up for success as a college student!
Get to know us
Start learning about student life before classes start.
Meet your student success advisor, get your ONEcard,
buy your textbooks, check out our clubs/teams, and
find housing if you need it.
