Georgian has opportunities for students to study or work abroad during their time enrolled as a Georgian College
student. This could include doing your co-op in another country, spending a semester studying overseas or even
participating in a short summer program.
STUDY ABROAD
If you want to gain even more cultural knowledge and learn from another country, we have some opportunities for
you! We have partner universities around the world who offer semester exchanges or short courses, like the summer
programs at VIA University in Denmark. Georgian College is also part of the Erasmus+ program, allowing students a
funded opportunity to study for a semester in countries within the European Union, such as Spain, Portugal, and the
Czech Republic.
In addition to engaging in learning experiences abroad, we also offer virtual global learning opportunities that allow you
to achieve important global competencies while still in Canada. Please visit our website for current opportunities.

DO YOUR CO-OP ABROAD
If you're in a co-op program at Georgian, you may be able to find a
co-op or placement abroad! Students are able to complete their co-op
anywhere in the world, as long as it is approved by their co-op consultant
at Georgian.
