31 GEORGIANVIEW 2019-20 WINTER Mani Singh smiles as he recalls his early days as a student at Georgian. "When I applied to Georgian, I didn't even know they had a photography program. I came from India to study international business management!" But after six months, he realized that it was time to follow his passion. Mani had already completed his Bachelor's Degree in Animation and Multimedia before coming to Canada, and in 2015, registered into the college's Photography program. He has been building his brand ever since. Mani's growing portfolio has been gaining international attention, as he reimagines a world where animals and human civilization are reversed, and his work has been featured in a growing list of international publications. "I look at the world as a blank canvas," he notes. "When you release yourself from the realities of the world, you allow space for your creativity to flourish." A WORLD REIMAGINED Mani Singh – Design and visual Arts, class of 2017
