GEORGIAN COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT
Recipients of the 2019 Board of Governors' Awards of Distinction
Georgian employees, alumni and community partners who made an outstanding contribution to the college and
who demonstrate an ongoing commitment to excellence were celebrated at a special ceremony on April 30, 2019.
The event began with a keynote presentation by environmental lawyer and former Environmental Commissioner of
Ontario, Dr. Dianne Saxe.
In addition to the recipients noted below, awards were presented to the Hospitality - Hotel and Resort Operations
Pilot Program working group, the Bursary for Students with Disabilities team, and the Customer Relationship
Management (CRM) team.
