PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Think big as you explore the world of computer science while
engaging in a focused program stream. Master the technology
that is rapidly revolutionizing our world. Students will have
opportunities to develop advanced analytical, programming and
software development skills, and participate in our co-operative
education program to gain rewarding industry experience.
FIRST-YEAR COURSES
• Programming Fundamentals
• Introduction to Entrepreneurship
• Discrete Mathematics
• Introduction to Object Oriented Programming using Java
• Client-Side JavaScript
• Introduction to Web Programming using PHP
• Advanced Databases
• Elementary Probability and Statistics
CO-OPERATIVE EDUCATION
You'll gain hands-on work experience through two mandatory
paid co-op work terms during the summers following first and
second year.

REQUIREMENTS

students)
Ontario Secondary School
Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent
with a minimum of six Grade
12 U or M courses including,
English (ENG4U); Advanced
Functions (MHF4U); and one
credit from Calculus and
Vectors (MCV4U), Computer
Science (ICS4U) or Data
Management (MDM4U). A
minimum final average, based
on the best six Grade 12 U or
M courses, of 70% is required.
