entrepreneurship centre, fitness centre with climbing wall, gymnasium
and running track, Georgian Stores, health and wellness clinics, Indigenous
Resource Centre, labs (culinary, electrical, golf, nursing, paramedic, robotics,
woodworking), library, on-campus residence, student lounges, theatre, and
videoconferencing classrooms
In 2018, we opened the new Peter B. Moore Advanced Technology Centre –
the go-to place to develop and incubate ideas in our region. Students, faculty
and industry collaborate in well-equipped facilities including the Alectra
Centre for Research, Innovation and Commercialization, an anechoic chamber,
and geographic information system and computer-aided design
and manufacturing labs.
ARCH AND HELEN BROWN DESIGN AND DIGITAL ARTS CENTRE
Students in the Graphic Design, Graphic Design Production, and Photography
programs learn close to professionals in the creative and digital community in
downtown Barrie. Great opportunities for work experience and collaboration
with experts.
